Three winning teams will be awarded with a total of $7,000 in prize money.
All teams will have access to incredible data sets provided by Hackathon partners including The City of Toronto, The Weather Company, Aviva Canada, The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, The Canadian Red Cross and Toronto Hydro.
This hackathon will focus on challenges related to disaster planning and preparation as well as challenges related to communication during a disaster. We look forward to announcing the challenges on October 13!
